The Salt Mill

Last Friday I spent the morning shooting some of the range of designer jewellery from my new Studio resident, The Salt Mill.

Salts works with plastics and wood to create some rad pieces that truly hit that want for good design spot in your heart.

The current range includes several different types of studs, drop earrings, bracelets and OOAK necklaces.

Gilded surfaces and arrangements of colour are really starting to come in to play with certain pieces from The Salt Mill. I am strongly reminded of the designs and style of Jenny Kee, and early Mossimo textiles prolific in the 80s. Love it.

You can find The Salt Mill on Facebook and Instagram, or why not pop in to the Stranger and Fiction studio and say hey?

The Stranger and Fiction Studio has a new Resident !

A big welcome to The Salt Mill, and their Jewellery range that is oh-so ridiculously good looking.

I will be doing a proper bio post about Kasulta and everything she is about, but for now I wanted to show off my new pair of wooden studs.

Some pieces are given a special colour treatment, designed to be one-of-a-kind like the two swatches bellow.

Are you excited?

You should be.
